The tension in the raffle last Sunday at the Kreativ Hamburg Messe was enormous. Countless participants eagerly awaited the raffle in favor of the Hamburg children's hospice Sternenbrücke from 3:00 p.m.
With numerous lots in their hands, everyone waited anxiously for the winner. Who would finally get order in the chaos at home - through a Brand Box CRAFT?
However, it was announced in advance that over 5,000 euros could be donated for the children's hospice and we would like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to all participants!!
Shortly after 4 p.m. the time had finally come. I was taken on stage for the raffle. I was really more excited than the many ticket holders ;) One of those waiting was about to win...
The moderator announced the first of four numbers... 13 (00).... A murmur went through the rows, but some hearts beat even faster at the number and then the moment finally came... 1335...
Short staring and leafing through the lots and then the redeeming and almost incredulous scream of our lucky winner Waltraud from Hamburg.
Every year, Waltraud buys lots to benefit the children's hospice and this year she had 8 in her hands.
Waltraud actually wanted to go home with her daughter before the raffle was over, since a visit to a trade fair is exhausting.
However, her sweet daughter said she still wants to see the finale.
Incidentally, on the way to Kreativ Hamburg, the two were just talking about finally equipping the already cleared and freshly renovated handicraft room with shelves and a table, since Waltraud is on vacation next week.
Never in their lives would the two have thought that they would go home with the main prize in their pockets that day.
But they just had the right lot and luck on their side. Among other things, because Waltraud's daughter was able to persuade her mother to stay, otherwise she would have missed her prize and another ticket would have been drawn.
Both of them had tears in their eyes and the anticipation of the Brand Box CRAFT couldn't be greater.
We're already looking forward to the pictures when everything is set up and cleared at Waltraud's.
